Railfans and Historians! If you missed the Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge conference last summer, here's another chance to hear Lawrence Meeker in person, acquire a copy of "Along the Carson and Colorado Railroad" (autographed!) and get answers to your questions about the railroad route and its remnants.
Meeker will be at the Laws Library and Arts Center Sunday October 18th at 1:00pm. He will also be in Independence the previous day for the Carson and Colorado Railways "Railroad Days" events and the following weekend at the Sierra Forever History Conference (October 23-25).
The Laws Museum's Museum store sells both Meeker's books and we look forward to selling volume 3 when available.
